About the event

Changing the Narratives of Suicide recognizes that real change happens together. By collaborating, we can build communities that value compassion, care, and connection, fostering hope and meaningful lives.

Intercultural voices are an essential part of the solution to addressing health and stigma. Their knowledge and lived experience help confront risk factors such as loneliness, isolation, and distress, especially within refugee and migrant communities. Cultural wisdom and community connection offer powerful pathways to healing and recovery.

This conference, the first of its kind in South Australia, brings together key figures in health, research, service delivery, community development and responses to distress and suicide, in order to inspire conversation, connection and a shared movement for change towards an inclusive and compassionate future.

Tickets are now available at Humanitix.
